I want to share two ideas with you that I saw in Isaiah 40:28-30 and Isaiah 41:10.
The outlines will be skimpy because this is all I have at this point, but I thought that this could get some "homoletic juices" flowing and you can actually make sermons out of them. A Good Description of God Isaiah 40:28-30 I. Vs. 28a - The real nature of God "Everlasting" -- Eternal "Creator" -- The "first cause" II. Vs. 28b - The strength of God "Fainteth not...." Dependable ""Neither is weary" - Inexhaustible III. Vs. 28c - The wisdom of God "There is no searching of His understanding." All-wise IV. Vss. 29-30 - The minstry of God He gives strength to us when we need it. Why We Should be Confident Isaiah 41:10 I. Because God is present "Fear thou not; for I am with thee" II. Because of Who He is "Do not be dismayed; for I am thy God..." III. Because of what He promised "I will strengthen thee..." "I will help thee..." "I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness..."
